Also known as: ワリオ
Mario's self-proclaimed rival. A crass, selfish, greedy anti-hero who sports superhuman strength. Frequently breaks the Fourth Wall in various promotional material. Partner in crime with Waluigi and stars in his own series: Wario Land and WarioWare.
His trademark appearance is having a Yellow Shirt, a yellow cap with a "W" and purple overalls. He also has White Gloves, green Pointy Shoes, a zig-zagged Mustache and a big Pink Nose. He used to have long sleeves, but ever since Wario Land II he is now depicted with having Short Sleeves to emphasize his muscles.
His name is a combination of Warui (わるい, Japanese for bad, evil, etc.) and Mario to produce Wario.
