Direct sequel to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, the third and final entry in the Super Mario Land series and the beginning of the Wario Land series.
Released in 1994 on the Game Boy, Wario, reeling from his defeat at the hands of Mario and still wishing for a castle of his own, sets out to steal the riches of the Black Sugar Gang for himself when word spreads of their theft of the Golden Toadstool Statue.
