She is portrayed with long dark Blue Hair in Low Twintails tied together by Ribbons, and Green Eyes.
Her outfit, a Sleeveless white Serafuku, Black Neckerchief, White Skirt, black Elbow Gloves, and black Thighhighs with a white stripe, is a noticeable difference from the prevailing Shiratsuyu-class uniforms as historically, she (like Samidare) was built to a modified design that served as a transition to the Asashio-class. She talks like a stereotypical rowdy Edokko and serves as a foil to the calmer Samidare.
