A staple food made from dough (whether made with bread wheat, durum wheat, buckwheat, rice, etc. and may or may not include eggs), which is prepared in various ways depending on the type of noodle (one example being rolled flat and made into long thin strips), then boiled in water until done (whether al dente or not). Popular types of noodles include Central European noodles such as spaetzle, Italian Pasta such as Spaghetti, and East Asian noodles such as Ramen (which are the focus of this tag).
Do not use this tag or its implied tags if the only thing depicted is a container for Instant Noodles, unless the noodles themselves can be seen within or on the packaging. Use Instant Cup Noodles or Instant Pack Noodles instead.
