A type of Syrup made from the sap of maple trees. Popularly poured on Pancakes and Waffles, and often associated with Canada due to the syrup being first made by the indigenous peoples of North America. The maple trees need to grow in colder climates for them to produce the sap, and Canada is the northernmost country of the continent, along with the Maple Leaf being seen on the Canadian Flag.
