General term given to many diverse species of reptiles of the clade Dinosauria that lived between 230 and 65 million years ago.
Despite technically being the only living dinosaurs, do not tag birds as dinosaurs.
For tagging purposes this tag may be used to cover other extinct reptile-like creatures, such as those classified as "mammal-like reptiles" or, more properly, non-mammalian synapsids.
