Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese light cruiser Kitakami. Character design by Shibafu (Glock23), voiced by Ootsubo Yuka.
She has long Black Hair with the back in a long Braid, and Purple Eyes. Her base outfit, shared with her sister Ooi (Kancolle), is composed of a Green Shirt with a Green Sailor Collar, Black Neckerchief, green Pleated Skirt, Black Socks with white stripes, and brown Loafers.
Her base Rigging consists of her real-life funnel and foremast to her back, a 14 cm Handgun mount, and twin 61 cm Torpedo Tubes on her left arm.
Her personality goes all over the place. Sometimes, she's a genuinely nice girl; other times, she trolls Abukuma (Kancolle). She often expresses her annoyance with the destroyers. She is likes to boast of her abilities, such as referring herself as "Super Kitakami-sama" after remodeling.
The nature of her relationship with Ooi (Kancolle) varies but they are usually very close to each other. In some versions, Kitakami is straight while Ooi is a lesbian, and Kitakami has to repeatedly shred Ooi's delusions. In others, they're a romantic couple. In yet further versions, they're both bisexual and have eyes for the Admiral (Kancolle) and each other.
