H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics) is a Robot from the Fantastic Four.
It was originally created for the 1978 Fantastic Four cartoon on NBC (now known as The New Fantastic Four) as a replacement for Johnny Storm, as the character's television rights were owned by Universal Studios at the time and they were planning a live action television movie of the Human Torch. H.E.R.B.I.E. has since appeared in the comics and later adaptations.
