One of two types of organisms which constitute Zygarde. They act as the Pokémon's "brain," able to gather and command large numbers of Zygarde Cells. They have two differently-sized eyes (one empty and one black) and a red Hexagon on their midsection.
Two Zygarde Cores known as Z1 (nicknamed "Squishy" by Bonnie (Pokemon)) and Z2 play a major role in the XY&Z arc of the Pokémon anime. Z2 is differently-colored, having a blue hexagon on its midsection instead of a red one.
