Also known as: チューブトップ, 裹胸, チューブトップビキニ, 抹胸
A form-fitting Strapless top consisting of a continuous band of fabric wrapping around the torso, with the neckline stopping just above the Breasts.
The length can range from covering the entire torso to covering just the breasts. If the Midriff is exposed it may also be a Crop Top, while if only the breasts are covered it may be a Bandeau. A tube top made of Bandages is a Sarashi.
Traditionally, the only support they provided was due to the stretchiness of the fabric. Tube tops do not have any attached sleeves, meaning that they leave the shoulders/arms and upper chest area bare.
Tube tops are innately strapless, thus they should not be tagged Sleeveless, and they should not be used for any clothing with straps, shoulders, or sleeves.
