A type of Chinese Hand Fan, they're often somewhat transparent. It's a common accessory to accompany Hanfu or a Qipao, sometimes used to cover one's mouth.
Not to be confused with an Uchiwa. While both are round fans, a tuanshan is completely round, made with silk instead of paper, and has no hole.
