A monthly Japanese magazine aimed at first-year elementary schoolers published by Shogakukan since 1925.
Shougaku Ichinensei is part of the magazine line "Shogakukan no Gakunen Betsu Gakushū Zasshi" (Shogakukan Elementary Year Learning Magazines), which previously had a magazine for each year of elementary school, from first to sixth. However, due to declining circulation only Ichinensei is still being published. [1]
