A playable character in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon And The Blade Of Light, Fire Emblem: Mystery Of The Emblem, and their remakes. In the former, he is mutually exclusive with Arran (Fire Emblem) - the player cannot recruit both in a single playthrough.
In the sequel, he becomes a bodyguard under Sheena (Fire Emblem). Unlike the previous game, the player can have both Arran and Samson in their party.
He has Blue Hair, wearing Blue Armor with Spiked Pauldrons to match, and often carries a large blue Shield. Some artwork depicts him holding a Sword, his weapon of choice.
