A playable character in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon And The Blade Of Light, Fire Emblem: Mystery Of The Emblem, and their remakes. In the former, he is mutually exclusive with Samson (Fire Emblem) - the player cannot recruit both in a single playthrough.
In Mystery, Arran serves as the "Jagen (Fire Emblem)" of the game, starting out as a powerful unit, but later loses his viability due to poor growths. This is explained in-game to be the result of a terminal illness, which he succumbs to and dies in the ending.
He has medium, Blonde Hair, wears Pink Armor with Spiked Pauldrons, and often holds a Spear, his weapon of choice.
