The third entry of the Resident Evil series, developed by Capcom and released in 1999. A remake was released in 2020 with many differences in the story and setting.
It follows the story of Jill Valentine in her attempt at escaping a zombie-ridden Raccoon City while in constant pursuit by Nemesis (Resident Evil). In her run, Jill crosses paths with Carlos Oliveira, member of the UBCS team, which is composed of Umbrella mercenaries trying to rescue civilians from the virus outbreak, and with who Jill reluctantly works with.
The game is split into two halves, where the first takes place a day before the events of Resident Evil 2, and the second taking place two days after.
