Main character of Final Fantasy Tactics. Brother of Alma Beoulve, son of Barbaneth Beoulve, half-brother of Dycedarg Beoulve and Zalbaag Beoulve. Ramza's friend Delita Heiral and his sister Tietra Heiral were adopted by Barbaneth.
Ramza adopts three appearances throughout the game, which have all been adapted as his costumes in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia:
- His Chapter 1 appearance as a squire in service to the Order of the Northern Sky. "House Beoulve Thirdborn" in Dissidia NT.
- His Chapter 2 and 3 appearance as a mercenary. "Virtuous Mercenary" in Dissidia NT and Opera Omnia.
- His Chapter 4 appearance, which in The Ivalice Chronicles version coincides with his class rename to "Gallant Knight". "Heroic Heretic" in Dissidia NT, and "Unlikely Hero" in Opera Omnia.
His squire outfit is depicted with a light Brown Cape in the primary artwork (featured in the manual), The War of the Lions FMVs, and its appearances in other titles, but is not present in the original game itself.
