One of the playable classes in Team Fortress 2.
An enigmatic, insane, fire-obsessed figure who has never been seen without their full body suit and voice-obscuring mask, the Pyro's name, nationality, gender and even species are a mystery, with the game's developers intentionally teasing the community for years about the truth. Supplementary materials have revealed that the Pyro sees the world in "Pyrovision", where everything is colored with pastels and rainbows, and the Pyro sees themselves merrily bringing joy to others when in reality they're causing untold, horrific suffering. Although childlike, crazy, and terrifying, the Pyro has been shown to act amiably to their teammates on occasion, especially the Engineer.
The Pyro has average speed and health, and primarily wields a home-made Flamethrower, a Shotgun and a Fire Axe. They can also use a Flare Gun, a Jetpack, a thrown canister of Gasoline, and various alternative versions of each. They're also known for being the natural enemy of the Spy.
The Pyro normally wears a team-colored, full-body fire-retardant rubber suit, a Gas Mask, large rubber Gloves, black belts and boots, and an Oxygen Tank on their back.
