A fire axe, firefighter's axe, or pick head axe is an Axe featuring a pick-shaped point opposite the axe's cutting edge. It is a common piece of equipment for firefighters. The pick end can be used in assisting breaking down doors and windows, and it can also serve as a handle in assisting dislodging the axe's cutting edge.
