Ultimate/Perfect-level Cyborg Digimon (Creature). A Virus-attribute version of Metal Greymon, this subspecies features Blue Scales all around with no striping. Its process of mechanization has left its Claws and Talons discolored in a similar blue as its scales, and its Yellow Eyes feature Slit Pupils, resulting in a more aggressive and feral look than its Vaccine-attribute cousin. Its Horns have also assumed the same silver color as the Helmet on its head.

- Metal Greymon (Virus) can evolve upon exposure to the X-Antibody.
- In Digimon Adventure 02, when the Digimon Kaiser forcibly makes Agumon Super-Evolve with a Dark Spiral, his Metal Greymon (Virus) form uniquely features a pale blue coloration with dark blue stripes. This coloration has not been featured elsewhere since.
- This was actually the first known variant of Metal Greymon, having been introduced in 1997; the orange Vaccine Metal Greymon was only introduced in 1999, in Digimon Adventure.
