Also known as: 結跏趺坐
A type of sitting position where the feet are placed on the opposing thighs. A variation of the Indian Style of sitting, it is a common meditation position among Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist contemplative practitioners (such as those of Yoga). Known in Japanese as kekkafuza (結跏趺坐).
