Japanese racehorse. Sired by Black Tide (Racehorse) (a full brother to Deep Impact (Racehorse)) and foaled by Sugar Heart (Racehorse) (from Sakura Bakushin O (Racehorse)).
He is a bay horse with a star and stripe marking as well as a pastern on his left back leg. He is known for being unusually big, weighing around 530-540 kg at his prime, being one of the heaviest racehorses of his caliber.
This front-running prodigy with a pedigree that just implies that he won at the genetic lottery is Black Tide's most successful progeny by leagues thanks to his 7 G1 victories.
He is the sire of Equinox (Racehorse) (All-around genius with 6 consecutive G1 victories), Sol Oriens (Racehorse) (His first winner of a classic race), Wilson Tesoro (Racehorse) (His first winner of a dirt G1), Croix Du Nord (Racehorse) (His first winner of a G1 race for 2-year-olds and his first winner of the Japanese Derby) and Ecoro Duel (Racehorse) (His first winner of a Steeplechase G1 and one of the few horses who clinched the Grand Jump and the Daishogai the same year).
He is also the sire of Gaia Force (Racehorse) (All-terrain meme horse), Skilfing (Racehorse) (Aoba-sho winner who is more known for dying at the Japanese Derby) and Piko Chan Black (Racehorse) (Winner of the 2025 Spring Stakes, a race Kitasan Black and Black Tide previously won.) among others.
