Japanese racehorse. Sired by Sunday Silence (Racehorse) and foaled by Wind In Her Hair (Racehorse), he is Deep Impact (Racehorse)'s full elder brother. While he only has a single G2 victory (The 2004 Spring Stakes), he went to stud thanks to Deep Impact's exploits implying he might have a chance there. Indeed, Black Tide managed to sire one of Japan's greatest racehorses with Kitasan Black (Racehorse). However, it would take 10 years before he could sire a second G1 winner with Kamunyak (Racehorse), winner of the 2025 Japanese Oaks.
