Also known as: キエフ, キエフ(アズールレーン), 基辅
Azur Lane's personification of the name ship of Soviet Kiev-class destroyers.
Kiev was historically designed as a follow-on to the Tashkent-class design (Project 48/48K) when it became clear that Italian shipbuilding practices were incompatible with the comparatively inferior Soviet shipbuilding industry and practices. Kiev and her sisters were to be cheaper versions of Tashkent with virtually the same armament. All were canceled or scrapped by the time of the German invasion of the Soviet Union. Only Kiev by far has been launched and revised as the 48K for post-war reparations but then was scrapped due to material shortages.
Destroyers of her class also have a planned speed about 42.5 knots and one of the destroyers to have an Auxillary gun.
