Also known as: へのへのもへじ
A doodle of a face made out of hiragana characters, often drawn by Japanese schoolchildren. Normally the "frame" of the face consists of a large "ji", though this is sometimes omitted and cannot be normally typed.
It is often used to symbolize an undistinguished or generic human face, such as the faces of Scarecrows, Teruterubouzu, and Faceless Males.
