One of the main protagonists of Steel Ball Run, alongside Johnny Joestar. A competitor in the Steel Ball Run race, he possesses control over a mysterious ability known as the Spin. Bearing similarities to the Hamon martial art from JoJo No Kimyou Na Bouken Parts 1 and 2, it allows Gyro to imbue a powerful rotational force on the pair of steel balls he uses as weapons.
He has Long Hair, a wide-brimmed Hat with long slits in it, teeth reading "GO!GO! ZEPPELI", and a Beard made from square patches of hair. He wears a shirt with a High Collar and Short Sleeves, a light Cape, a light belt with a harness depicting hands Pointing at his groin area, three Armbands on his forearms, Bridal Gauntlets, and pants fused with boots with Spurs. In the anime, his shirt has a smaller number of rivets in an x-cross shape.
His Stand (Jojo) is Ball Breaker (Stand).
