Clothing with a pattern made of small, even checks formed by criss-crossing stripes. The stripes are usually colored on a white background, creating a repeating mix of white squares, lighter-colored squares, and darker-colored squares.
Commonly used in dresses and tablecloths. The Kobeya Uniform is notable for incorporating a Gingham Apron.
Not to be confused with Plaid Clothes, which uses varying stripe widths, with Checkered Clothes, which uses solid squares of alternating colors without mid-toned checks, nor with a Grid Print, where the stripes are a solid, uniform color.
