A Hat or Helmet made of Leather or similar material, worn by aviation Pilots and motorsport drivers to keep their head warm and to provide it some protection. Often made with ear flaps and worn with Aviator Goggles. Superseded by Pilot Helmets when Cockpits became enclosed.
