Aomori Prefecture

Also known as: 青森県

A prefecture in the Tōhoku region and the northernmost prefecture on the island of Honshū. Well known throughout Japan for its apple orchards, Nebuta Matsuri festival, heavy snowfall, and highly divergent dialect of Japanese.
