Also known as: アオザイ
The ao dai (Vietnamese: áo dài) is a traditional Vietnamese outfit consisting of a long Dress or Robe worn over silk trousers. The top is usually tightly fitted with a high or Mandarin Collar and is often made of bright colors and decorated with floral patterns. The trousers are typically made of silk, with a contrasting color to the top.
The áo dài is similar in appearance to the China Dress, both consisting of a long robe with Side Slits on both sides of the robe, with one of the main differences typically being the height of the side slits.
A white áo dài is also a traditional Vietnamese High School Uniform.
