A type of Sponge Cake that uses no butter, resulting in a very specific texture. Commonly comes in a rectangular shape or as a donut-shape similar to a Bundt Cake but without the fluted sides.
Commonly baked in a donut-shaped angel food cake pan, similar to a bundt pan but with taller flat sides and frequently a removable bottom.
