Nicolae Ceausescu

Dictator of Romania from 1965-1989. Played both sides of the Cold War to court various investments. He first attempted to crush the 1989 revolution, and when that failed attempted to flee the country. However he was captured, a quick trial was held and he was executed on Christmas Day.
