Fashion styles inspired by popular fashion of the 1950s.
Fashion at the time played between the lines of formal and casual wear. Dresses often had an "hourglass" shape, with a Belt used to cinch the waist. Pencil Skirts were also a common choice, along with Skirt Suits, Capri Pants, Flats, Pillbox Hats and Fascinators, Cat Eye-Framed Eyewear, and Stiletto Heels.
Fashion subcultures of the time include Rockabilly, Greaser Fashion, and the beginnings of the preppy Ivy League style.
