Also known as: ロカビリー, ロッカビリー
One of the earliest styles of rock 'n roll, originating in the 1950s. The genre had a particular fashion subsculture associated with it, which saw a resurgence in the 1970s.
Rockabilly fashion involves a color scheme consisting of reds, blues, blacks, and whites. Skirts and dresses are often worn with Petticoats to give a "poofy" silhouette similar to that of Lolita Fashion, while other common garments include High-Waist Pants and shorts, Pencil Skirts, and Pinafore Dresses. Clothing is often patterned with Polka Dots, Leopard Print, stripes, or sailor motifs. Hair Bows are often worn on the head.
