A transformable Mecha from the MACROSS universe. It first appeared in the Macross Plus OVA.
The YF-19 Alpha One is an advanced prototype of the VF-19 Variable Fighter.
This new mecha was designed by Scientist Yang Neumann. A test Pilot for this fighter was Isamu Dyson.
Features include extreme high speed and maneuverability inside an atmosphere, Canards and forward sweep wings, as well as a new mini Pin-Point Barrier System adapted for variable fighter use.
The YF-19 was designed by Kawamori Shouji.
