Yamashiro (Battleship)

Battleship of the Fuso class. Laid down in November 20, 1913, launched on November 3, 1915, completed on March 31, 1917. Reconstructed during the 1930s with lengthened hull, new machinery, more armor, higher elevation of main armament, and additional AA guns. Sunk at the battle of Surigao Strait from 4 torpedoes and a number of 16in & 14in shell hits.
