William I Of The Netherlands

<b>William of Orange</b>, or commonly known as <b>William the Silent</b>, was a Dutch noble who is notable for being the leader of the Dutch Revolt against the Spanish Habsburgs, and was involved in the independence and establishment of the Dutch Republic. He served as the Prince of Orange from 1544 until his assassination by Balthasar Gérard in 1584.
