Artwork in the style of typical Western animation and comics. This includes styles based on classic Disney or Warner Bros. cartoons, modern cartoons such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, or South Park, as well as styles from superhero, newspaper, or indie/underground comics.
While there are some Japanese characters that resemble toons, such as the casts of Sazae-San and Anpanman, they do not count under this tag by default.
This tag is for characters drawn in the style of Western cartoons, not for characters who merely originated from a Western cartoon.
