Toha Heavy Industries (東亜重工, Tō-A Jūkō; Tō-A can be interpreted as "East Asian") exists in fiction as a megacorporation appearing in many of Nihei Tsutomu's works, including Blame!, Biomega, and Sidonia No Kishi. In real life, Toha Heavy Industries is a company that Nihei founded to manage his own brands. Its logo looks like a stylized "t".
