The Transformers is a comic book series by IDW Publishing, based upon Hasbro's Transformers characters and toy line. IDW picked up the copyright after Dreamwave Comics closed down, and the series' first continuity ran from 2005 to 2018. It was rebooted with a new continuity in 2019, which ran until IDW lost the rights to the series in 2022.
