Series of action-adventure video games by Naughty Dog, set in the aftermath of a Zombie apocalypse triggered by a strain of Cordyceps which mutated to infect humans; the titular first game released in 2014, and a sequel in 2020.
A live action TV adaptation by HBO aired its first season in 2023, with a second airing in 2025 and the final season expected to be aired in 2027. The TV series was well received by both critics and fans for it's great storyline, the actors performance and being faithful to the games with some changes to fit the tv series format.
