A School Uniform worn by Thai students, derivative of the Japanese School Uniform. The girl's uniform mainly consists of a white Collared Shirt, a Long Skirt (usually in black or indigo), and an optional small Ribbon. The boy's uniform consists of a white collared shirt and a black/indigo Short Shorts.
Older generation of Thai conservatives regarded the school uniform as "honourable" and considered it a taboo to associate it with any indecent things. Newer generations of Thai artists have developed a counter-culture around the uniform by playing with common taboos, such as sexual indecency and Prostitution.
