Taue Odori

Also known as: 田植踊

A type of rice planting folk dance performed in the Touhoku region of Japan, primarily in Miyagi and Iwate prefecture. Girls and young boys perform the dance, wearing Hanagasa (for the women), Tekkou gloves, and festival Kimono.
