About Tabi

Also known as: 足袋, サイハイソックス足袋

Traditional Japanese split-toe Socks with a division between the big toe and the other toes in order to be worn with Sandals.

Historically, tabi were commonly made of inelastic materials such as Leather and cotton and had fasteners at the back due to their origin as indoor footwear. Modern tabi use stretchable fabrics.

For socks with a division between all toes, use Toe Socks instead. For tabi that are worn as shoes, use Jika-Tabi instead.
