Areolae with irregular, speckled pigmentation, typically appearing as lighter or darker patches around the edge of the areola.
Not to be confused with Glands Of Montgomery, which are small raised bumps on the areola/nipple that typically become more pronounced during pregnancy or when the nipple is erect.
