An object in Monster Hunter (Series) series, first appeared in Monster Hunter: World.
It is a small Crossbow-like tool attached to the left arm of a hunter's armor, which can be used as a Slingshot (Weapon) or Grappling Hook.
So far slingers have appeared every once in two base game release, starting from World.
