Due to his timid personality and his habit of saying sorry due to him being afraid to offend anyone, he has gained the nickname "Sumanai-san" (Mr. I'm sorry) from the fanbase. In Fate/Grand Order, it is revealed that this habit is the result of his wife Kriemhild (Fate)'s assertive behavior.
