Also known as: 武装親衛隊, SS, Schutzstaffel
The combat branch of the Nazi Party's paramilitary Schutzstaffel (SS) organization. Heinrich Himmler, Josef Mengele and Michael Wittmann were some of the prominent members.
The personnel were generally recognized by the all-black uniform worn by the officers, consisting of a jacket, Peaked Cap, necktie, pants and Boots. Most units did not wear such uniform outside of Germany. Instead, the officers and the Soldiers wore the similar field grey uniform of the Wehrmacht.
Pay attention to the visible insignia, such as the Black Sun (Symbol), Siegrunen, Totenkopf, Wolfsangel and other symbols that represent a particular infantry division. The Red Armband may also be included.
Do not use for fictional uniforms or outfits modelled after the SS uniform.
