About Sandersonia (Flower)

Also known as: サンダーソニア, 提灯百合

A flower genus native to South Africa. The sole member of the genus is called Sandersonia aurantiaca.

Sandersonia has yellow to orange bell- or lantern-shaped flowers that hang from a central stem with thin, lance-shaped leaves. Because of its resemblance to Lily Of The Valley, it is commonly known as golden lily of the valley. Other common names include Chinese lantern lily and Christmas bells.
