The most well-known incarnation, Eobard Thawne (aka Professor Zoom) is a scientist from the 25th century who harnesses the power of the negative Speed Force. He was responsible for many tragic events in Barry Allen's history, as the Reverse Flash is destined to become his archenemy, despite idolizing him before.
