Also known as: リヘネラドール
Enemy type in Resident Evil 4. Its name literally means "regenerator". They are broadly humanoid creatures with wrinkly gray skin and no hair or lips, displaying Glowing Eyes and large rows of crooked, sharp teeth. Possesses a variant, nicknamed "Iron Maiden (Resident Evil)", which is broadly the same but seems to have absorbed sharp objects into its body which protrude from its skin like a large amount of Spikes.
Developed from an infusion of multiple Plagas into a single host, the resulting creature possessed nigh-unlimited regeneration capabilities and was practically indestructible unless all of its core parasites were destroyed. However, the Regeneradors were exceptionally aggressive and unpredictable, and could not be controlled, resulting in multiple deaths attempting to subdue the monsters and place them into cryogenic containment. A few examples escaped and attacked Leon S. Kennedy during his rescue mission, but were swiftly dispatched of, and as of 2005, all known produced examples are believed to have been destroyed.
